Those photos where they’re all dressed up and smiling directly at the camera, perfectly posed… those are overrated. These are my kids – my REAL kids. This is how I want to remember them, laughing and being completely ridiculous. Not only do these photos embody who they are at this moment in their lives but they even had fun during the session. Can’t say that for those studios in big box stores. Check out another family session with kiddos having fun!
And this isn’t because they are MY kids. Trust me, it’s more difficult to take photos of your own kids. YOUR kids will listen better than these two monsters. Trust me. 😉 We laugh, run, sing, dance, play, and act like… you guessed it… kids. Because life is no fun if you can’t be a kid at heart sometimes, I encourage you to laugh, run, sing, dance, and play like a kid with your beautiful littles. I do it!
Kids are sweethearts when you let them be kids. Ha. Just kidding. They’re tiny tyrants and you have to know how to play their games. But, I really do love playing their games. Just take them back when we’re done, ok? 😉
Let me tell you how many bribes were give for this photo… and how many times we said the word “fart”. Yes. They’re complete boy.
He’s got this thing for making creepy faces a the camera. But, I love him still.
