Raw emotion and real connections.
I love capturing candid wedding photography near DC and Baltimore. Amy and Danny met through their love of running and were often on the trails at Gambrill State Park together. They decided to get married in the mountains near their home in Maryland.
Their ceremony was held at the overlook where the sun sinks into the mountains and paints the sky blazing orange and pink colors. Gorgeous florals by WestVirjeni decorated the overlook and the Gambrill Tea House where their closest family and friends gathered to celebrate.
Amy and I discussed her vision for her wedding photography, and I felt that we matched in what we both want from a wedding – connections. She even opted out of “formal portrait” time, and I photographed gorgeous REAL moments for her and Danny as they merged into a family with Amy’s girls.
After delivering the images, Amy sent this incredibly sweet message, “The pictures are absolutely amazing!! Words cannot even express…. You captured exactly what we had hoped to capture. I love that there are no posed photos!! You rock!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!”
And, this is why I do what I do, friends. To capture real, to capture raw, to tell your love story.
