This is your trial run for photography. I don't require an engagement session, but it's a great opportunity to see what it's like to be in front of my camera.

Leading up to your date, we will create a custom timeline for your photography. The day of, I lead where we need and step back to allow authenticity to unfold.

Soulful, free‑spirited storytelling with real moments, genuine emotion, and raw love captured with warmth and authenticity. Most of the day is captured naturally - the laughter, the hugs, the little in-between moments, while gently guiding you so you look and feel like yourselves.
To book a wedding or elopement date, I require a contract and retainer. The retainer for weddings is $1200. For a session, the retainer is 50% of the session fee.
Your engagement session is a our opportunity to connect and for you to experience being in front of the camera. We work out your nerves while I focus on best angles and getting to know you. We can choose a place that holds meaning for you, or I’m happy to offer location suggestions. It's not required, but it can be helpful.
I live in Western Maryland, almost WV and cover the tri-state area. I am frequently in Fredrick, DC, Baltimore, and Delaware. I also travel anywhere. I've photographed couples in Hawaii, Wyoming, Oregon, Iceland, and more.
Your photos will be delivered via online gallery. You'll receive printing rights for all of your high resolution images. Timeline depends on type of project: weddings are up to 8 weeks, sessions are up to 4 weeks.
The short answer is yes. So I can focus on your moments, it's best to have a planner handle the choreography of your day. I can certainly help in the moment where needed, but to have the least stress and best flow, you want a rock star team of professionals for each moving part. I have a list of folks that I love working with and that are inclusive.
