It was a beautiful day filled with blue skies, surprise rainbows, and starry nights and we managed to capture all of it on this special occasion! But none of it compares to the love and light that Jess and Hana carry with them. I’m honestly the luckiest to have been chosen to capture this incredible weekend for two of the most in love people I know. We traveled into the heart of WV for a wild, wonderful, free celebration of these two pure hearts.
Hana + Jessica got married at The Confluence Resort in West Virginia and it was incredible. So many smiles. So many tears. What an adventure we all had that weekend! These two are FULL of heart and such a special duo… the photos speak volumes but you can’t possibly understand until you meet them both.
OHHHH MYYYY HEARTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!! Never have I ever cried like this at a wedding.
Look at the way they look at one another! These two are absolutely head over heels in love with one another! I asked them what their favorite part was and they said, “At the end of the day, getting to marry your best friend is the greatest part of it all! Our other favorite part about the wedding was that our friends and family made the trip to a destination wedding in West Virginia, and we truly fest so special and loved from everyone the entire day. Getting to have everyone together, having fun, and enjoying the beauty of the area was amazing!” I agree… 110%!!!
A brief storm rolled through during their outdoor reception, and though it was an intense few minutes, Hana + Jessica had fun running out into the rain and capturing the image below! A full rainbow graced the sky on their big day! So appropriate and exciting. You should’ve heard me yell… “FULL RAINBOW! RUN!”

I always ask my couples if they have any advice or words of wisdom that they’d like to share with other couples who are planning and Hana + Jessica said that even though it is cliche, staying calm throughout the planning process and the on the actual day is crucial, because at the end of the day, what matters is everyone is together sharing love and being there with and for you.
As someone who has photographed many weddings over the year, I wholeheartedly agree! Rain or shine, your day is going to be YOUR DAY.
Congrats, Hana + Jessica! I wish you a lifetime of happiness!
