Lake Linganore Family Photography | Lucy+Irene

Family

These five are repeat clients because they love the Jacqie Q experience. They travel from DC to Frederick for their Lake Linganore Family Photography session.

Irene contacted me last November about portraits after a mutual friend recommended me to her and Lucy. Last November was quite a difficult time as I lost my grandmother to cancer. Her name was also Irene. I have only ever met two Irenes in my life, but they both share the same spark and fire but also friendly manner and tone. I feel so honored to photograph Lucy and Irene and I always have my grandma in my heart when I do so.

This year Irene requested a beach and we decided on one right by my house. The sun was shining, the weather was decent, and we ended up with an empty beach all to ourselves. Lucy & Irene have three dogs that complete their family. They, and specifically Mulan the german shepherd, absolutely loved the beach. Here’s Mulan mid-army crawl as we tried to get her to be still for a few photos.

Aren’t they a great looking bunch?! I love how Lucy’s dress coordinates with Dory’s collar and the muted Christmas colors are just perfect. Dory sits pretty as a princess on Lucy’s lap. Simba on the right is the man of the house. He wanted to come home with me. 🙂

See Dory pop her paw and raise those ears? Typically with new people Dory is a tad shy but we are best buds now!

Always such a blast with these two! Seriously! I love capturing the two of you. 🙂

And I couldn’t resist the boat rack with all of the colors! It was there and I’m in love with this photo by Bobbi and Mike, so why not?

Lucy… Irene… I love you both! Looking forward to our next exciting session! 🙂

Leave some comment love for these awesome friends!
