Vow renewals are a quiet, powerful celebration of everything a marriage holds: the highs, the lows, and all the in-between moments that shape a life together. What makes them truly meaningful is the chance to pause and recognize growth, to see your partner not just as they were, but as every version they’ve become, and to choose them again with deeper understanding and intention.

In 2022, Nadia and I traveled to Maui and completely fell in love. We hiked Haleakalā, ate our way across the island, and like true first-time tourists, we found ourselves navigating one of the most nerve-wracking roads of our lives. Maui offers breathtaking views at every turn, but what stayed with me most wasn’t just the scenery. It was the feeling.

Hawai‘i has a way of grounding you. It feels like coming home in a way that’s hard to explain. The rhythm of life, the deep-rooted culture, and the genuine care people have for the ʻāina (land) and for each other. It’s a place where intention isn’t just practiced, it’s lived through Aloha.

So when it came time to celebrate ten years of marriage, there couldn’t have been a more fitting way than a week of adventure in Maui, complete with a sunrise atop Haleakalā.

These two set the bar high. Their love is honest, deep, and beautifully unfiltered. It was woven into every word of their vows. New promises were shaped by a decade of shared life, growth, and unwavering commitment.

BONUS to the Moon for a the full lunar eclipse on this date! We were in the path of totality and it just compounded the magic of that week.

We then celebrated with a private dinner that I’ll never forget… because a girl’s gotta eat after all those feelings!
