Maryland Wedding Photography at the Anchor Inn | Amy+Rob

Wedding

Amy booked me a loooonnnnggg time ago when she first started planning. On the day of her wedding I was up with the sun and traveled from Frederick to her parents’ home in Pasadena, MD. As soon as I got there she got all teary eyed (apparently again), and I couldn’t help but have my heart melt. She and her ladies were such sweethearts throughout the entire day, even during the crazy mid-day party for their wedding! Amy was up at 5 a.m. getting ready for her big day!

Her dear dad helped hang the dresses for a photo.

Mama and Amy’s Aunt were brought to tears watching her get into her gown. Such a lovely moment. I just want to hug them!

Grooms and their men have their own style of getting ready for weddings. While the girls primp and pamper for hours, they guys… well, normally, they drink and hop in a tux twenty minutes before go time. They also typically dread photos… Guys, it’s different with JQ. I promise you that. 😉

While I was hanging with the ladies, Katie from Katie DeLorme Photography graciously took care of the guys’ portraits. This dude below wins the best groomsman award in my book.

I absolutely love when ceremonies and receptions take place at the same location. Less stress for all involved! This venue is the Anchor Inn in Pasadena. Very cute venue with LOTS of light! 🙂

Mr. & Mrs.!!!!!!

We headed out on the pier for formal portraits. With a group like this, that was a dangerous feat. Thankfully, none fell in!

Amy surprised her groom with a special guest! He’s a big fan of the O’s. The Oriole bird was a big hit with the guests.

The moments for the bride and groom portraits are always quite special. For the first time, man and wife get a moment without hustle and bustle around them. They can breath, we can relax, and I can capture those special smiles and snuggles. It’s my favorite part!

Below is Katie’s view of the pose above. If you’re wondering why a second shooter… angles, more brains, and more photos are just a few reasons!

Another lovely angle from Katie. LOOOOVE this!

Inside there was lots of dancing and laughing and cake smashing. Amazing party, you two!

Many, many years of happiness you two! Thank you for letting Katie and I share your big day!
