Wedding

Ohhhh, Stone Manor Wedding photography has quickly become a favorite because of Doris and Kyle’s wedding. We had the most glorious sunset for their wedding… more on that later. This is the longest wedding I’ve shot to date, and with so many cool celebrations the time flew by! Doris and Kyle incorporated cultural traditions as well as modern touches. Seeing the families come together to support and love these two all day long on their epic wedding day was quite the honor. Every which way we (my second Elisha and I) turned Doris and her family were asking if we were hungry or thirsty or needed anything. It’s MY job to make sure YOU have everything YOU need, so this twist was refreshing and touched my heart. Thank you for being amazing humans and sharing your love story with me!

We started this incredible 14 hour day with a Chinese Tea Ceremony. What a beautiful tradition that all the family enjoyed! Yeah, I cried.

Next on this wedding day adventure we jetted off to Stone Manor, a breath-taking and quite serene setting for a full out wedding celebration!

This ceremony site!!!! I cried more… I’m really such a sap and romantic at heart.

The sunsets at Stone Manor are TO.DIE.FOR. The sun just drops and drops and drops… I’d call it an endless sunset. Seriously, my heart exploded with happiness at the gorgeous golden-ness that went on forever. Kyle and Doris played along with me during the sunset time and it was WELL worth the 15 minutes that we escaped the reception. All the heart eyes on these!!!!!

I asked Doris if she had any advice for couples who are in the hurricane of wedding planning. Doris says, “When you are planning, it is easy to get lost in ‘The Wedding Industry’ and convince yourself that every detail has to look absolutely perfect, but truly at the end of the day, if it’s too hard.. it’s not worth it!!! What I remember from my wedding is how I felt, not how perfect things looked. I felt the warmth, the love, and the laughter. That feeling was what I tried to remember as I planned.”

Congrats, you two! Many, many, many years of bliss to you both!
