Morgan and Brody’s WV Wedding near Deep Creek was one for the books. I kind of love when couples are a bit nervous about have photos taken. I really love showing them how much fun it can be. I met Brody and Morgan for their engagement session at Harper’s Ferry, and we got allllll those nerves out of the way and had gorgeous light to boot! Plus, these two are hilarious! Seriously, still waiting to go out to dinner with these two.
Their wedding vision hit me in the gut because I LOVE shooting backyard weddings. They took backyard wedding to the next level with Brody’s family’s farm. His grandparents’ home was the backdrop. The family planted sunflowers with care, timing them perfectly for the wedding and the knoll in the distance offered such a stunning place for a few portraits. In the year of rainy weddings, we stayed dry and had some pretty cool cloudy skies to work with.
This was a BIG moment for Morgan and Brody. Being pronounced husband and wife in front fo their family and friends was their favorite moment.
We all know how crazy wedding planning can get! Brody and Morgan have some great words to share so you can savor these moments together. “Enjoy the whole process, from engagement until the big day. Soak up every bridal shower, every dress fitting and every cake tasting! On your wedding day, the font on the invitations or the type of dinner plates won’t matter. It’ll be perfect! It will go by so fast, just try to chill out and take it all in.”
What a fun bunch they were! Thank you both for choosing me!
