Allie contacted me for Wedding Photography near Frederick, and we chatted about her wedding vision over coffee. Allie and Tim live in Washington, D.C. so their style is very city-chic and they wanted their wedding to reflect that. Allie chose blush, navy, and gold as her color palette and crafted an absolutely gorgeous wedding. Use this palette as inspiration, brides! It’s so classy and versatile!
This wedding was amazeballs, and we started at Tim’s parents with the guys. What a fun group! Laid-back groomsmen (especially scotch-drinkers) are right up my alley. I can capture REAL groomsmen and shenanigans when everyone is relaxed about the whole experience. After all, this day is a CELEBRATION!
Tim’s best man was his dad! Isn’t that so cool?! You could tell how much Tim respects and loves his dad and their bond. I hope for this in my relationship with my boys.
Hi, handsome boy!
Next, we set off to check out how the ladies were doing with preparations at a hotel near downtown Frederick. When we arrived, DNa Lab was creating masterpiece hair styles all while drinking mimosas and celebrating Allie’s last few hours as a single lady.
Time for the CEREMONY! Allie and her bridesmaids took a party bus from the hotel to St. John’s in Frederick.
Those last few moments before the bride walks down the aisle are always full of emotions. The flower girls were waiting with Allie and her dad. Those little girls adore Allie and were filled with excitement as they held the door for her.
Don’t you just love how excited Allie is! We went on a little adventure downtown to this great wall of ivy near one of my favorite places, Cafe Nola!
If there was ever dancing at a wedding, it was this wedding. This group ROCKED the dance floor! GET ON THE DANCE FLOOR, FOLKS! A crazy dance floor makes for awesome photo-ops. 🙂
