Despite the weather reports for the day, there wasn’t a drop of rain in sight for Kate and Pat’s wedding at the White Barn at Lucas Farm in Garrett County, Maryland. Katelynn shared an intimate first look with her father, where there was nothing but tears of joy! You can tell from above how amazing their relationship really is! A first look with your important family members is a great picture perfect moment.
Gray and blue skies graced Kate and Pat’s wedding! I still can’t believe we lucked out with this beautiful day!
All of Katelynn and Patrick’s signs and table numbers were done by Pat’s sister, Brigette! How awesome are these fantastic pieces?!
Patrick couldn’t contain his emotions as he watched Katelynn walk down the aisle towards him. I love couples who aren’t afraid to show emotion and excitement on their big day.
When talking about their favorite part of the wedding, Pat said exchanging the vows were his. The connection he felt was everything he dreamed it would be. As they were standing up there, it was just the two of them and in that moment, nothing else mattered.
Kate’s favorite part was walking down the aisle and seeing Pat crying. The whole moment was emotional and one she will never forget! She also said another favorite part of the day leading up to the ceremony was that Pat had arranged to have all eight of her bridesmaids give her a gift every hour until it was time to walk down the aisle. Each gift held a sweet little poem attached.
After the wedding, this happy couple went on their honeymoon to Jamaica! They stayed at Secrets Resort Wild Orchid in Montego Bay.
On imparting wisdom for brides and grooms to be, Pat said to stay calm while your bride is stressing out. She’s going to need the calmness in all the craziness. And a good fallback is always “whatever you want babe”!
Kate wanted to share that couples who are getting married should pick their vendors wisely! And spend a huge chunk of your budget on a photographer and videographer. She’s a woman after my own heart!!!!!!
After the ceremony and formal portraits, it was time to party! Kate and Pat opted for a glow stick exit, and I can’t say I blame them! SO much fun!
All in all, it was a perfect day and I’m honored they allowed me to be a part of their special day!
