Those of us who live in Western Maryland bask in its natural beauty year round. Warm summers with lush forest foliage and snowy winters with smoke filled chimneys. One of my favorite places, and one that I’ve visited frequently since I was a child, is Swallow Falls. There are three falls at this state park in Maryland, and each is pretty unique. When eloping there, you can choose which one suits your fancy as the backdrop of your event or you can simply choose to say your vows in the forest or creek side.
Sara and Steven chose to say their vows up creek from Muddy Creek Falls, the tallest waterfall in the park. After their family cheered them and snapped a few photos, we adventured to other parts of the easy walking trails. These two were so fun and easy to work with. Sara jumped right in the falls for a perfect photo op! That’s my kinda wedding people!
After our little hike, Sara went for a wardrobe change, and they joined family at Dutch’s for cake and dinner. Simply a perfect elopement!
